The World Food Programme is hiring an Economic Empowerment Officer to work in Baghdad, Iraq, on a 6-month Service Contract with the possibility of extension. This role is part of the Social Protection unit and will focus on implementing an Economic Empowerment Pathways pilot targeting Social Safety Net beneficiaries. The pilot aims to provide a proof of concept for a Government-led, national Economic Empowerment Pathways program. The Economic Empowerment Officer will work under the guidance of the Head of Social Protection and with the support of an Economic Empowerment Technical Advisor. The Assistant M&E Officer will report to a Monitoring & Evaluation Officer or another senior staff member who assumes the role of Planning Coordinator.
