Hospitality Operations & Infrastructure Venue Manager
Opportunity Overview This is a job for a Venue Manager in Hospitality Operations and Infrastructure, located in Brazil. The role is full-time and fixed-term, within the Ticketing, Hospitality, and Stadium Revenue department. It involves managing hospitality programs, ensuring infrastructure readiness, and overseeing the Official Hospitality Provider and volunteers. The ideal candidate has a background in event management, sports hospitality, or a related field. The job requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and in a team. The candidate should be fluent in Portuguese and English, with additional languages being an asset. The role involves managing multiple service providers, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high organizational skills. The job is part of a larger effort to deliver high-quality hospitality services to FIFA affiliates and commercial partners. The Venue Manager will be responsible for ensuring contractual deliverables, managing hospitality guest numbers, and validating operational plans. Responsibilities - Manage and deliver the Affiliates and Commercial Hospitality programmes - Ensure Infrastructure readiness and maintenance services of Hospitality areas - Oversee the Official Hospitality Provider and their suppliers, and Hospitality Volunteers - Check and validate Operational plans from service-providing departments to Hospitality - Ensure excellent service to the FIFA Affiliates on site - Monitor service delivery from the Official Hospitality Provider from set-up to match day - Ensure contractual deliverables to the FIFA Commercial Affiliates and the Official Hospitality Provider - Manage on-site hospitality guest management - Ensure service consistency throughout different hospitality programmes - Validate all on-site hospitality directional signage - Ensure Health and Safety regulations are strictly observed - Update and share hospitality guest numbers with relevant FIFA stakeholders - Manage the distribution of SADs to relevant functional areas - Ensure catering services run as expected - Handle hospitality-related issues on Match Day - Attend the FIFA Daily Coordination Meeting and hold daily Hospitality Team Meetings Requirements & Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree or similar level of education in Event Management, Sports Hospitality Management, Project Management, or related fields - Experience in stadium hospitality or venue management, preferably for major sports or entertainment events - Proven experience with event overlay, ticketing, dressing and signage, catering, logistics, and security operations - Experience managing multiple service providers, particularly for Technical services, Cleaning and Waste services, Security Services, Access control Services, Accreditation, etc. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Strong customer-service attitude - Ability to work independently and in a team - Exquisite organizational skills - Ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team - Fluency in Portuguese and English - Proficiency in MS Office and planning software - Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and literacy of architectural drawings Benefits - No specific benefits are mentioned in the job description How to Apply 1.
