Opportunity Overview UNICEF Honduras seeks a consultant to analyze the Hospital Management Model (MGH) and identify gaps for its update. This 3.5-month assignment will be carried out in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. As a consultant, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving healthcare services for children and families in Honduras. Benefits & Financial Aid - Consultancy Fee: This will be negotiated and agreed upon with the selected candidate. - Travel and Subsistence Allowance: Will be provided to cover expenses related to travel and accommodation. Eligibility Criteria - Education: Professional degree in a field related to healthcare, public health, health management, or a related field. - Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a healthcare organization, preferably in a hospital setting. - Language: Fluent Spanish (C1/C2 level) is required. - Desirable Qualifications: - Experience in analyzing or updating the Hospital Management Model (MGH) or similar healthcare management models. - Knowledge of the healthcare system in Honduras, including RISS, second-level healthcare, hospital management, and quality of healthcare services. - Experience in developing diagnostic reports, analyzing healthcare processes, or conducting operational studies in healthcare settings. - Experience in collecting and analyzing information using mixed-methods, including document reviews, interviews, focus groups, surveys, or in-field verification. - Experience in analyzing healthcare information systems, digital transformation, interoperability, or using institutional health platforms.
