The World Food Programme is hiring a Senior Strategic Technical Advisor on social protection, gender, and economic empowerment pathways to support the Government of Iraq in co-designing, modelling, and piloting Economic Empowerment Pathways interventions. This role is part of WFP's social protection system reform agenda in Iraq, which aims to establish evidence-based prioritisation criteria to guide the delivery of services and assistance. The advisor will work remotely with targeted missions to Iraq for 11 months, with a maximum of 20 working days per month. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for arranging appointments/meetings, receiving visitors, maintaining hard and electronic office files and records, and drafting routine correspondence. The incumbent will also facilitate implementation of personnel administrative formalities, maintain office inventory, and assist the supervisor to monitor and record expenditure/disbursement of funds. This role contributes to the Individual Giving team development, providing technical expertise and operational support to enable the team to operate to their full potential. The aim is to generate both monthly and one-time donations from individuals using various channels and methods.
